Continuity sensor
WebA continuity test is performed by placing a small voltage (wired in series with an LED or noise-producing component such as a piezoelectric speaker) across the chosen path. If electron flow is inhibited by broken conductors, damaged components, or excessive resistance, the circuit is "open". WebCheck the sensor’s signal voltmeter reading. An oxygen sensor interprets a decrease in oxygen as a rich fuel condition and emits a signal close to 800mV (0.80 V). If the sensor doesn't respond accordingly or takes time to respond, the sensor isn't working properly. Reconnect the air duct to the air cleaner assembly and turn off the engine.
